Joe Fojtasek, founder of the companies that eventually became Atrium Windows & Doors, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, at his ranch in Winchell, Texas. Having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, he was 92.

As previously announced with the Onex Corp. planned investment in Jeld-Wen, Philip Orsino has joined the Oregon-based window and door maker as president. Rod Wendt, who has been Jeld-Wen's CEO and president since 1992, remains as CEO.
