The Portland Timbers, a new team in Major League Soccer, and Jeld-Wen Inc. have signed a naming rights partnership for the newly-renovated home venue, which now will be known as Jeld-Wen Field. Quanex Building Products Corp. said Friday it will close its acquisition of Edgetech I.G. Inc. on or before April 1. Quanex received the applicable government approvals, and as previously announced, the $107 million purchase will be an all-cash transaction, officials report.

Following the addition of siding in 2009, ProVia has expanded its portfolio of exterior products with the purchase of Heritage Stone, a manufacturer of stone products located in Zanesville, Ohio. Both companies are privately owned and terms of the transaction were undisclosed.

Quanex Building Products Corp. has acquired the equipment and certain assets of Jeld-Wen Inc.'s vinyl extrusion plant in Yakima, Wash. With the acquisition, Quanex's Mikron Industries, based in Kent, Wash., will operate the facility, supplying vinyl components to the window and door manufacturer.

Soft-Lite LLC has added a second line for applying interior woodgrains and external color laminates on windows at its manufacturing facility in Streetsboro, Ohio.
