PGT Industries is closing its manufacturing plant in Salisbury, N.C., and transferring production operations to its headquarters facility in Venice, Fla. Andersen Corp. has announced that Jim Humphrey, who has been chief executive officer since 2003, will retire from active management on March 31, 2011.
