Oklahoma City-based M-D Building Products Inc. has acquired the assets of Loxcreen Co. Inc., based in West Columbia, S.C. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The combined sales of both companies will exceed $200 million annually.

Guardian Industries officials confirmed the company has completed the previously announced sale of a minority stake in the business to a subsidiary of Koch Industries. According to a recent Reuters report, Koch now owns a 44 percent share of the glass manufacturer.

Expanding its holdings in the fenestration industry, Quanex Building Products Corp. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Alumco Inc. and its subsidiaries in an all-cash transaction. The assets include Aluminite, a screen producer for the window and door industry.
