Maui Windows and Doors celebrated the grand opening of its brand new showroom and retail store with a two-day open house held January 16 and 17. The 3,000-square-foot showroom is home to the lone specialty windows and doors supply company on the island. Therma-Tru Doors is planning $20 million in improvements to its Butler, Ind., location in the next three years, The Journal Gazette reports, creating an additional 105 jobs at the plant. The Butler Therma-Tru plant currently employs 720 people, according to the article.

The Bayport and Stillwater fire departments responded to a fire at Andersen Windows in Bayport, Minn. Dec. 2, The Stillwater Gazette reported.
According to Bayport Fire Chief Mark Swenson, who also works for Andersen, the fire was in an outbuilding with a lot of sawdust. He said the fire was small but the sawdust created a lot of smoke.
