Masonite Inc. has closed the previously announced acquisition of Marshfield DoorSystems Inc., the manufacturer of doors and door components for commercial and architectural applications. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Amending its May agreement to invest in Jeld-Wen Holding Inc., Onex Corp. now plans to take a majority stake in the Oregon-based door and window manufacturer. When the transaction is complete, Philip Orsino will also step in as Jeld-Wen president, the Toronto-based investment firm reports.

Acquiring the assets from bankruptcy court, Universal Molding Extrusion Co. has re-opened International Window Corp. Architectural Testing Inc. has received approval from the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association to serve as a designated laboratory for the testing of hardware products pursuant to BHMA certification program requirements. Graham Partners, a private investment firm, has acquired Chelsea Building Products from the Tessenderlo Group. Chelsea, based in Oakmont, Pa., designs and extrudes of vinyl window and door profiles. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
