The number of OSHA recordable accidents is significantly lower at Gorell Windows & Doors over the past year—down from 42 recordable accidents in 2010 to just 17 so far this year. This improved safety record (a 7.9 OSHA Incident Rating) has resulted in much less lost work time due to accidents, the manufacturer notes.

Vinylmax Windows, the Ohio-based manufacturer of wood and vinyl replacement windows, has gone one full year–more than 300,000 man hours– without a lost work time accident, officials report.
