Champion Windows is launching a summer campaign called “Close the Window on Hunger” to donate to food banks all around the country. The replacement window manufacturer and installer plans to donate 50 pounds of food for every appointment and another 100 pounds for every order placed, it reports.

A window and door auction hosted by Simonton Windows recently netted $30,000 for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life fundraising efforts in Ritchie and Pleasants County, W.Va.

The U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration has recognized ProVia Door's glass fabrication facility as a Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Star.
