Crystal Product Line Highlights

Crystal’s 3 ¼ inch vinyl Series 200 window is available in double-hung, picture, slider, casement, hopper, awning, bay/bow, garden bay and architectural shape styles. An auto-activating sash lock, constant force balances, tilt sashes and a beveled profile provide both beauty and functionality, the manufacturer reports. Standard soft coat low-emissivity and argon gas qualify the window for Energy Star rating, and optional glass upgrades on select models meet Most Efficient 0.20 U-value performance levels.
The Series 300 vinyl new construction line from Crystal features an integral pre-punched nailing fin, optional snap-in J-channel siding return, 2 5/8-inch frame and 7/8-inch insulating glass unit. Styles include single-hung, picture, slider, hopper and special shapes. Soft coat low-E glass and argon gas are standard and qualify the window for Energy Star rating. Crystal also offers a variation of this window without nailing fin – the 300R – as a competitively priced replacement window.
Crystal’s Series 400 is the company’s vinyl choice for upscale new construction projects. The 2 7/8-inch vinyl window is available in double-hung, slider, picture, awning and architectural shape styles. Standard windows are comprised of dual-glazed 7/8-inch insulating glass units, low-E glass and argon gas. Integral nailing fin and J-channel facilitate builder installation, while tilt sashes, constant force balances and wide ergonomic lift rails benefit the homeowner.
Beyond the standard extruded colors of white and beige, Crystal vinyl windows offer a selection of 10 other exterior color options for a two-tone look. This two-tone color option utilizes factory applied and warranted vinyl-compatible paint for the exterior window surfaces while the interior remains the original white.  Crystal’s vinyl window color options are a solution for homeowners seeking new windows to match, or contrast with, house trim, shutters, exterior doors or siding.
Crystal produces 11 aluminum window lines, such as the Series 8000 shown, many of which are suitable for residential and light-commercial applications. With jamb depths from 2 ¼ inches to 4 ¼ inches, the windows come in double-hung, slider, fixed, casement, projected, tilt-and-turn and other styles. Aluminum products feature a standard, durable AAMA 2604 environmentally friendly powder coat finish in a range of standard, stock and custom colors.
European-inspired, the Series 9000 Tilt and Turn offers the dual-action functionality of a project-in hopper window, which tilts in at the top, and a casement window, hinged at the side to swing-in.  Available in large sizes, these windows offer full unobstructed views and draft-free ventilation.  With a 1 ¼-inch glass unit and I-Bar thermal break, the 3 ¼-inch AW-70 rated aluminum window provides U-values as low as 0.30.
