Created to enhance the unique style of existing homes―whether Georgian Revival, mid-century Ranch, Dutch Colonial, Bungalow or Contemporary―the Spotlights Collection of doorglass from ODL Inc. was also on display.
Therma-Tru debuted a number of new products at IBS, including additions to its Pulse and Fiber-Classic Mahogany Collections, redesigned low-E internal blind options, and a new camber top glass shape, among others. Pictured here in a Fiber-Classic Oak Collection door, the camber top glass shape is available in Fiber-Classic Mahogany, Smooth-Star, Profiles and Traditions doors as well. Decorative glass designs include Saratoga (pictured), Maple Park, Wellesley and Concorde, all of which are available in a variety of caming options.
ThermaWrap R5.0, new from DuPont, features an insulated underlayer made of recycled Tyvek and polyester. With a 6-inch uninsulated flap, the horizontal and vertical seams can be installed shingle fashion before taping, keeping out air and water. ThermaWrap R5.0 reduces Home Energy Rating System scores in various climates and meets or exceeds building and energy code standards, DuPont reports.
With non-butyl acrylic adhesive, Intertape Polymer Group’s ultra-thin environmentally-friendly window flashing bonds to everything from OSB to wood and concrete in just 10 minutes, the company reports. Located in Canada, IPG trains installers to create a perfect seal that doesn't allow moisture to get behind a window.
