CRL-U.S. Aluminum Systems Receive Florida Product Approval
January 10, 2017
CRL-U.S. Aluminum received Florida Product Approval by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation for the Monterey S55 and S80 Bi-Folding Doors. The approval signifies full compliance with Florida Building Codes and will make it easier for glaziers and design professionals to select the appropriate systems for their jobs, company officials report.
Monterey S55 and S80 Bi-Folding Doors are top-hung sliding glass doors, precision engineered to open with minimal effort. The doors fold and stack to the side to create expansive views and produce a seamless transition to the outdoors. The Monterey S80 model is thermally broken while the S55 model is not. The Florida Building Commission issued the following Statewide Product Approvals for these models: 21167.1 and 21167.2. Monterey is approved for use anywhere in Florida outside of High-Velocity Hurricane Zones.
“We take pride in our ability to engineer products that meet stringent performance requirements for specific markets,” says Gerald Hendrick, president of U.S. Aluminum. “These approvals give project teams in the state of Florida peace of mind knowing that our products will meet code.”
