Deceuninck North America Celebrates Nevada Plant Grand Opening at GlassBuild

Deceuninck North America will celebrate the grand opening of its new plant in Fernley, Nevada, on Oct. 22, right after GlassBuild 2016 in Las Vegas. The 150,000-square-foot facility, which sits on a 28-acre site, includes up to 24 extrusion lines, manufacturing support, offices and a warehouse.
The company will also display its latest products at GlassBuild, booth #1550, including the eos patio door, the eos window system, the 650.650 multitrack sliding door and Revolution Tilt & Turn Windows. In addition, the company will showcase its customer-centric approach to business, including a goal of zero backorders and recently launched Commercial Alliance program, which provides technical, engineering, marketing and sales support to members. Finally, material scientists from Deceuninck will be available to discuss the chemistry behind its growing polymer compounding solutions, which include compounding, additives, consulting and design services.

The facility features a streamlined manufacturing flow, from the two railroad spurs serving the Fernley location to the movement of materials through the facility and shipment of the finished product. The Fernley facility will have an initial staff of 35.
