Deceuninck North America teamed up with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton and Catch the Building Spirit for its most recent build, a home in West Carrollton, Ohio, for David and Christy Armstrong and their children. Deceuninck donated the windows, decking and railing. The project began in late May and was completed in early September. A dedication event was held on Sept. 19 where more than 100 people attended to wish the Armstrongs well in their new home that also included remarks from Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton and Catch the Building Spirit. Scott Ricke, building products manager at Deceuninck, also attended. “Working with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton provides Deceuninck North America with an opportunity to make a difference in our community,” said Filip Geeraert, president and CEO of Deceuninck North America. “After last year’s rewarding partnership, I’m pleased that we are able to participate in this worthwhile program and help a family in need. Our low maintenance products are also a perfect fit for Habitat for Humanity and Catch the Building Spirit projects, which aim to build energy efficient homes that reduce heating and cooling costs, and provide durable building products that will look like new for years to come.”
