Italian manufacturer Piva Group will open its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. The global manufacturer of vinyl windows, doors, panels and other construction products is expected to create 122 new jobs over time thanks to this $6.47 million expansion.

“It is rewarding to bring jobs to Missouri and specifically to Ste. Genevieve, where the workforce has demonstrated an outstanding work ethic and strong values. This facility will provide the highest levels of quality and consistency in our products and allow us to deliver the best level of service and value available to our customers,” said Randy LaMotte, president of Piva Group North America.

Piva Group expects to install machinery and equipment in its new 60,000 square-foot production facility in the coming weeks, which it anticipates will be operational in August. Its initial production capacity is anticipated to grow from approximately 300 windows per day to triple that capacity over time.

Piva Group’s only other production facilities are located in Italy and Spain where the company employs a combined 400 workers.
