Gorell Reports Record Increase in New Business

Despite a downturn in the home improvement industry, Gorell Windows & Doors, Indiana, Pa., reports it is experiencing record increases in new business acquisitions as well as business volume from new acquisitions.

In 2009, the amount of window business resulting from new dealers and distributors was 70 percent more than new business acquired in 2008, the vinyl window manufacturer reports. Gorell is already well on its way to doubling its new account business again this year, officials note. The company has signed 50 percent more dealers—resulting in 35 percent more business—this January and February, compared to 2009.
