MIWD Unveils New Corporate Logo

MI Windows and Doors has unveiled a new corporate logo that will debut on new signage outside each of its manufacturing locations. The change follows a series of organizational adjustments triggered by an ownership transition in January. After functioning under JT Walker Industries for more than 60 years, the current management team made the decision to purchase the company from JT Walker and venture forward as a private, independent business.

The new logo embraces the forward movement of the company while still staying true to the brand already in place. “We wanted a cleaner, more bold look and feel, but didn’t want to sacrifice the brand our customers know and love,” says Patrick Schutte, director of marketing. “Our designers teamed up to create a logo that sticks to our roots, but will also focus our efforts toward the mantra ‘We are MIWD.’ Our new logo serves to solidify our message to our consumer.”

The new logo will be used primarily on signage and apparel, and for web applications where the former logo proves less effective. It features the name of the company, MIWD, in bold white letters against a black background. Tying new to old, the signature red boxes are present above the "I." The company’s tag line, “Seeing You Through,” has remained dominant and will be placed below the logo wherever practical.
