Solar Innovations Inc. designed, manufactured, and shipped a straight eave, double pitch skylight with conservatory nose and attached curtain wall to Saudi Arabia for the largest project the company has shipped to the Middle East to date. The skylight project is currently being installed.

The skylight measures over 35 feet wide and 61 feet long, with a 35-foot tall curtain wall. The project is constructed with a 2½-inch aluminum framing system, featuring a custom brown fluoropolymer finish, and over 4,800 square feet of glazing, including Low-E 240 insulating glazing for the roof, and Low-E 366 insulating glazing for the curtain wall. The project also included a six-panel folding glass wall, two out-swing terrace doors, and two sets of out-swing French doors.

Through its extensive dealer network, Solar Innovations, Inc. assisted in the design and selection of accessories, including two double ball and spire finials, six faux aluminum pilasters, and decorative molding. In-house engineers used STAAD modeling to meet structure performance requirements.
