Western Window Systems introduced its simulated steel line, a new series of energy-smart, thermally broken aluminum windows and doors designed to match the look of steel.

An extension of the recently launched Series 7000 performance family, Western Window Systems’ simulated steel line is crafted with a signature aluminum extrusion and designed to emulate a steel putty glaze ´╗┐with beveled glass stops and 0.875-inch simulated divided lites ´╗┐.

“The thermally broken simulated steel line offers customers the opportunity to have the aesthetic of a steel window or door but with the affordability and shorter lead and installation times of an aluminum product,” says Scott Gates, president of Western Window Systems. “Today’s announcement is further evidence of Western Window Systems' leadership in the indoor-outdoor living space. We’re thrilled to offer a new solution to replicate steel doors and windows with this bold new line, and we hope architects, builders and homeowners think it’s as remarkable as we do.”
