Fenestration Manitoba developed a manufacturing-focused conference to be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba March 5-7. The third annual FenCon program will continue its focus on manufacturing, automation, continuous improvement, as well as cover topics such as materials and finishes.
FenCon 19 is re-located to the RBC Convention Center and will feature an opening keynote by an economist from Ottawa, Ontario. The event will also host an “expanded team of experienced Lean educators, a manufacturing-experienced educator focused on operational excellence, and will feature a deeper dive into the requirements for effective installation with a focus on cold climate settings,” according to a release from FenCon. Other highlights of the program include insights into insulating glass technology, a workshop on finishing fiberglass door panels, and a tour of Omniglass Pultrusion.
“We are excited about the opportunity to deliver a short, cost effective, manufacturing-focused conference which continues to attract, primarily, owners and managers of window and door manufacturing enterprises from all parts of North America,” says, Nancy Zubruski, executive director, Fenestration Manitoba.
