The German organizers of fensterbau/frontale, the world's largest window and door industry trade fair, are planning an Indian version of the event for 2011. Set for February 24-26 in New Delhi, the event is being held in conjunction with Acrex India, said to be that country's largest exhibition for the refrigeration, air conditioning and building services industry.

Some 80 million to 90 million homes and thousands of office buildings are to be built in India in the coming 10 to 15 years, reports Willy Viethan, exhibition director of fensterbau/frontale at N├╝rnbergMesse. “Making business contacts here in good time is an investment in the future,” he notes.

The trade exhibition is expected to feature window and door profiles and other components; prefabricated elements; hardware; shading and ventilating equipment; machinery; installation accessories and tools; and computer systems.  In addition to the trade show, the fensterbau/frontale India will feature a conference focused on “Envelopes for Green Buildings,” with a program looking at the topics of energy efficiency, shading, security, temperature and sound insulation, as well as examinations of the Indian and international markets.

N├╝rnbergMesse officials are partnering with ift Rosenheim, the International Fenestration Forum  India, and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce to assure the quality of the exhibition and conference, it is noted.  Information about fensterbau/frontale India 2011 is available online at www.frontale-india.com.
