The National Glass Association has announced new dates for next year's GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo. The trade show, to be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, is now set for September 12-14, 2011.

The 2011 dates were originally September 7-9, immediately following Labor Day.  “A show as large as GlassBuild America is not easy to schedule, because the choices for locations and dates are limited," says Denise Sheehan, NGA's VP of industry events. "We knew the 2011 dates weren’t perfect, so we’ve been looking for a better time slot for some time.”

With the original dates, many exhibitors and attendees would have had to travel on the Labor Day holiday to come to the show. With the new dates, people can spend the holiday weekend home with friends and family, she explains.  “We are very excited to be able to slide the dates one week later in September.  We feel this change will provide a more cost effective trade show, and a happier, more productive event for both exhibitors and attendees.”
