Edgetech Ranks Among Fastest Growing Companies

September 10, 2008
For the second straight year, Edgetech I.G. has been ranked among Inc.’s 5000 list of the fastest growing private domestic companies.

The list, reported by Inc.com, is an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list.

Jim Melloan, project manager for Inc. 5000, calls the distinction a “portrait of young, underreported companies across all industries doing fascinating things with cutting-edge business models, as well as older companies that are still showing impressive growth.”

Edgetech marked 57 percent sales growth from 2004-2007.

“We are thrilled to once again be chosen for the prestigious Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hovan, president of Edgetech. “This is another milestone for Edgetech as we experience continued success in the United States and throughout the world.”

The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, for profit, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2007; and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.
