Endura Adopts QR Codes

Endura Products Inc., the manufacturer of door system components, is the first industry supplier to report it has started to use a Quick Response or QR codes to enhance its marketing efforts and track user response. 

QR codes can be scanned by smartphone cameras and devices. Once scanned, they automatically link the device to Web sites, text, photos or videos.

Endura is rolling out QR usage in a print advertising campaign to drive traffic to its Web site. The company also plans to use the QR codes for special promotions.

“It’s more than just a new way to connect with customers,” says Tessa Ramezane, Endura marketing manager. “It’s a way to direct people for a specific purpose and to track response.”
