GlassCraft Partners with Home Aid Houston

May 25, 2012

Working through the Greater Houston Builders Association's Home Aid Houston, GlassCraft Door Co. is reaching out to its community to help build transitional housing for Houston’s homeless men, women and children, the company reports.

As a corporate partner and sponsor of Home Aid Houston, the manufacturer of fiberglass and wood doors is participating in several major new construction projects being planned for 2012 and beyond.  These include four duplex unites for homeless women, a 20-bedroom shelter for women exiting the criminal justice system and and four Home Aid Care projects.

Since its inception in 1989, Home Aid has built more than 80,000 temporary homes for the homeless with the mission to build dignified housing where homeless families and individuals can rebuild their lives.
