Gorell to Support Spill Relief Efforts

June 15, 2010

From June 14 to July 4, Gorell Windows & Doors will donate a portion of every sale of windows that incorporate its Eco Master glass system to the National Audubon Society, the company reports. Collected funds will be provided to the Audubon Gulf Coast Oil Spill Recovery Fund to help aid birds already suffering the oil’s deadly effects, protect now-unharmed wildlife in the path of the spill, and restore the devastated Gulf ecosystem for the long-term.

“Donating a portion of our sales to Audubon will allow us to help repair the devastation this oil spill is causing, specifically to the wildlife,” said Brian Zimmerman, Gorell President & COO. “We appreciate the Audubon’s proactive work, and we encourage homeowners to support the society’s efforts, either directly or through Gorell’s support program.”

Eco Master is Gorell’s newest glass system that allows windows to be Energy Star-qualified for all regions of the country and to qualify for the $1,500 federal tax credit.
