SageGlass Products Displayed in Chicago Museum

June 1, 2008

The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry's "The Glass Experience" special exhibit features Chihuly, Tiffany, Botti, Corning, Pilkington and electronically tintable glass products from Sage Electrochromics. Visitors to the museum will travel through a timeline of glass as they learn about the material's science, artistry and applications. The Sage products, made with Pilkington TEC glass, will be displayed as part of the Industrious and Innovative sections.

In addition, patrons can watch glassmakers turn molten glass into bowls, vases and art, witness a glass restoration demonstration by the Botti Studios and see a glass blower in action.

The special exhibit runs through Sept. 1, and requires additional admission and a timed-entry ticket.
