Stürtz Hosts Open House

November 2, 2009

Stürtz Machinery recently hosted an open house at its new facility, which the supplier moved into earlier this year.  As a tip of the hat to its parent company in Germany, the open house featured an Oktoberfest theme, including  traditional German food and drink.

"Following the success of GlassBuild America in Atlanta, we decided it was a good time for an open house to show off our new plant," reports Mike Biffl, national sales manager. "We were fortunate to have a great turnout of customers, families, vendors and friends."

Biffl notes that despite the slow year experienced in the industry, the vinyl equipment manufacturer stayed very busy through the summer months planning for the show and moving into the new, more efficient facility in Twinsburg, Ohio.  "After a lot of hard work by our team, we are beginning to feel at home," he adds.
