Therma-Tru Announces Sweepstakes Winners

June 28, 2011

Mike Murray, Lloyd Barela and Holly Gilbert have each won a four-day grand prize trip from Therma-Tru as part of the company’s “Unlock the Opportunities” sweepstakes. More than 3,300 people entered the online sweepstakes between January 12 and April 30, 2011.

Murray, owner of Sunrise Windows in Damascus, Ore., and Barela, customer service representative with Trimco Millwork out of Thornton, Colo., have each chosen Orlando as the destination of their sweepstakes prize. Gilbert, inside sales specialist with Huttig Building Products out of Nashville,  has selected Las Vegas for her getaway trip.

The sweepstakes was launched to educate building industry dealers, distributors, builders and remodelers on the new products available from Therma-Tru in 2011. Almost 7,500 people visited the interactive sweepstakes website, the door maker reports.

“There were three different ways to enter the online sweepstakes,” says Curt Daniel, marketing specialist at Therma-Tru. “People could electronically paint the new Classic-Craft Canvas Collection door, build a door with vented sidelites and/or select different decorative glass and fiberglass door combinations to create grand entryways.”

“What a thrill to find out that I was a grand prize winner,” says Barela, who has worked at Trimco for nine years. “I learned about the sweepstakes from our Therma-Tru buyer. It’s an impressive website and I’ve been suggesting my customers visit it to learn more about Therma-Tru’s new products.

In addition to the grand prizes, each day of the promotion one entry was selected to win a $50 gift card to a retail location, such as Best Buy or Cabela’s.
