Veka Employees Give Back

December 13, 2010

Veka Inc. recently organized four charity events for its employees in Fombell, Pa.; Reno, Nev.; and Terrell, Texas.  With the Veka Gives Back program, the extruder set aside one week for voluntary collections of donations for three charities, and also hosted an American Red Cross Blood Drive for one day at its facilities.

As a result of the efforts, Veka collected over 3,000 items for military men and women overseas for the Yellow Ribbon Girls, over 3,000 non-perishable items collected for local food banks and over 300 items for the Marine Toys for Tots drive.

"Veka is very proud of their employees for the enthusiasm shown for these charities," says Steve Dillon, marketing director. "The willful giving to these programs has been tremendous."
