Hansons Names New VP

Hansons Windows, the Troy, Mich.-based home improvement company, has added Blake Gitlin as its new VP of marketing. He joins the dealer after more than 20 years in the wireless communications and travel industries.

The hiring of Gitlin to the newly-created position reflects an aggressive new slant toward marketing and brand protection at Hansons, officials note. “Blake brings with him not only experience but creative, outside-the-box ideas,” says Brian Elias, founder and president. “We feel very fortunate to have him.”

Gitlin will direct the entire marketing efforts of the company, including media placement, event exposure, canvassing, website traffic and SEO brand protection. He will also be heavily involved in developing ways to make Hansons Windows’ customer satisfaction ratings better, according to Elias.

“The opportunity to work with the hundreds of extremely talented Hansons Windows team members is incredible,” Gitlin states. “The established Hansons culture of providing great products with a risk-free buying experience makes my job pretty easy. We have a great message; I just need to make sure everyone knows about it.”

Serving Michigan and Ohio, Hansons sells and installs replacement windows, siding, roofing, insulation and gutter guards.
