The long-time manufacturer of thermally broken and non-thermally broken multi-slide doors product has added the 2600 Series wood/aluminum-clad line to meet the needs of customers that want to match their doors with adjacent wood window packages. From Western Window Systems, the new line provides an alternative to more expensive lift-and-slide systems, as well as aftermarket multi-slides done by a local trim shop, it states. Panels are offered in a traditional style with a beveled glazing leg and traditional interior wood stops or a contemporary style with a straight glazing leg and square wood stop that creates clean lines and sharp edges for a modern style. Other choices include narrow or medium stiles and a range of bottom rail heights.  Wood components are made laminated veneered lumber cores to provide strength and durability finished with a stain grade wood veneer on the interior, with an optional vertical grain fir and custom wood species available as well.  Doors can be provided in a wide variety of sizes and configurations.
