Andersen launches this week a new visualization tool for consumers to design custom wall plans using the company’s windows and doors. The WindowCentrics Wall Planner, found at, takes users through the process of computer-aided design with the simplicity of point-and-click technology. Consumers can choose a wall shape from 16 available templates, select from one of six families of windows and patio doors to use, and then drag-and-drop countless pre-designed window and door combinations or individual units onto the virtual wall space. Users can also personalize their designs by selecting window trim stain and color options, and adding color and texture to the wall. Ghost images of everyday household items like furniture, pets, people and plants are available to help demonstrate scale. With the ideal virtual wall created, buyers can create a PDF to share with contractors, architects or friends and family.
