Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association Announces 2021 Virtual Spring Meeting

The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association will hold its annual Spring Meeting virtually May 18 to 20. 

The event will include meetings for BHMA’s Codes, Government & Industry Affairs Committee and Marketing Communications Committee, an update on BHMA’s new Certified Products Directory, as well as technical discussions covering the following standards:

• A156.10 – Power Operated Doors
• A156.23 – Electromagnetic Locks
• A156.42 – Acoustics

In addition, there will be a guest speaker presentation from Jim Narva, executive director of the National Association of State Fire Marshals.  

“The 2021 Spring Technical Committee Week will focus on further developing BHMA’s 40+ ANSI/BHMA standards and enhancing the association’s code advocacy and authority,” says Ralph Vasami, BHMA executive director. “This is a time for industry professionals to gather and define the future of builders hardware through innovation, the assessment of public safety and general industry leadership.”
