Gary L. Hartman, vice president of sales and marketing for Chelsea Building Products, issued a statement to its customers March 13 in response to COVID-19:
As many of you are aware, the coronavirus is throughout the United States and is in the news 24/7. While we are concerned about the health and safety of our employees, family members and customers, we also need to make sure that our customers have the products they need, when they need them.
Internally we are taking as many preventative measures as possible to keep our employees healthy and keep the business operating. We have also been in contact with our suppliers and transportation partners regarding the availability of product and equipment to deliver that product. As of today, everything is “business as usual.” In the event that something within the supply chain changes, we will notify you as soon as possible.
If anything changes within your business that might affect you ordering or taking delivery of product, please inform us as soon as possible.
