Continental to Showcase Two New Products at GlassBuild

Continental will launch two new products from its portfolio of exterior films solutions at the 2024 GlassBuild America Show, September 30 through October 2 in Dallas, Texas.

What to expect at GBA

Designed for the North American market, the Woodec line will now include a red-hued Woodec Tropea Oak Cognac. Continental is also introducing its Mattex Shine Series in the North American market, featuring a matte surface with a metallic luster finish.

Attendees can visit Continental at Booth 46023 to see the latest advancements in exterior films for the building and construction industry. Continental offers window profiles, surfaces for front doors and garage doors, and stylish façade elements that are maintenance-free, wind- and weather-resistant, and durable.

Specifically, Continental will highlight the following solutions in its booth.

  • Mattex Shine Series, featuring an innovative, scratch-resistant grain with a sand-matte feel, just like powder-coated aluminum. The series includes the cool colors Plus technology for effective surface temperature reduction, and a PVDF coating that makes the surface easy to clean and temperature and chemical-resistant.
  • Woodec Tropea Oak Cognac, an in-demand color with a red hue that completes the Woodec line’s color collection. Designed exclusively for the North American market to imitate red cedar.
  • Woodec Jura Pine, featuring a matte touch with a wood look that brings the feel of natural living to the window.

Visitors to the booth can engage with Continental’s team of experts and experience live demonstrations, including the innovative cool colors Plus technology with the lowest heat development for Conti exterior laminates. Sharing the booth with Austria’s fux Maschinenbau, Continental will showcase the laminating and processing of its exterior films.
