President and CEO of Cornerstone Building Brands Rose Lee received the Pinnacle Award, an honor by the Asian American Business Development Center to top Asian American business leaders in recognition of field leadership, career status and achievements.

About Lee
Lee, the first female Korean American CEO of a Fortune 1000 company, has had an esteemed path of leadership roles and advanced education in business and engineering.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Lee was president of the DuPont Water & Protection business where she led a diverse business creating water, shelter, and safety solutions for a more sustainable world. Lee joined DuPont in 2015 as global business director, DuPont Kevlar and Aramid Intermediates. In 2016, she assumed the role of president, DuPont Protection Solutions and was named president, safety and construction in 2017.
Prior to joining DuPont, Lee held senior leadership positions at Saint-Gobain in several general management positions serving construction, transportation, energy and defense sectors, as strategy director and chief information officer of North America region. Prior to Saint-Gobain, she held various engineering and management positions at Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies company. She also was a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in New York City.
Lee is a board member of Honeywell. She has served as a member of the Economic Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Inc., and is a member of Women Corporate Directors, Philadelphia chapter.

The Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award gala took place Thursday, Sept. 22, in New York. Lee is one of just 30 Asian American business leaders who have received the award, which spotlights C-Suite members of the Asian American and Pacific Islanders community since its inception in 2004.
The Pinnacle Award recognizes individuals widely acknowledged as leaders in their fields and at the top of their professional careers. It is the highest honor of the AABDC’s annual Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Awards program. As a Pinnacle Award recipient, Lee joins a prestigious group of more than 30 prominent Asian American business leaders who have been recognized since the award’s inception in 2004.
