Deceuninck North America announces two appointments to its executive leadership team, effective immediately. Lytia Watson joins as vice president of human resources, and Brian Haigis is the new vice president of finance and accounting. Haigis succeeds Logan Arumugam, who will retire in March after 30 years with the company.
Watson has more than 25 years of experience in operations, sales and marketing, supply chain and multi-site HR leadership in the automotive, distribution, aerospace and industrial manufacturing industries. Recently, she served as senior human resources manager for The Azek Company, a manufacturer of home building materials in Ohio. Before this, Watson oversaw human resources activities for several divisions of Barnes Aerospace.
With three decades of international experience, Haigis brings financial experience in auditing, business planning, product costing, acquisitions and controllership, according to the company. He spent 15 years with Luxottica, an Italian manufacturer and distributor of luxury, sports and performance eyewear. As CFO for its EyeMed division, he led business development transactions. Before Luxottica, he served as finance director for the plastics extrusion and injection molding division of Owens-Illinois.
"We are pleased to welcome two accomplished executives to our team. Their depth of knowledge, leadership and insights will prove valuable as we refine our strategies and position Deceuninck for continued growth and innovation," says Joren Knockaert, president and CEO for Deceuninck North America.
