Elevate Windows & Doors to Start Operations in Kentucky

A manufacturer of contemporary, energy-efficient windows and doors for the residential housing market, Elevate Windows & Doors LLC has selected a 100,000-square-foot building in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to expand its manufacturing and distribution footprint throughout the southern United States. The investment of more than $16 million will create 203 full-time light manufacturing and shipping roles jobs. Company leaders expect to begin production as soon as April 2023.

Company leaders noted the strategic distribution location, available workforce and business-friendly environment as factors in the decision to locate in Christian County. And after successfully negotiating the Covid pandemic, 2021 and 2022 were a time of process improvement and growth for the company that allowed it to meet critical milestones.

"Our expansion is one way for us to reemphasize our commitment to our excellent distribution partners," says Jim Robinson, Elevate's co-owner. "We see the Kentucky-Tennessee corridor as having a similar growth trajectory as our Texas operations."

Elevate will add to Kentucky's manufacturing presence, which includes nearly 5,000 facilities that employ around 250,000 residents. According to the National Association of Manufacturers, more than 13 percent of the commonwealth's workforce is in manufacturing, above the national average of 8.5 percent.
