FeneTech Sees More Than 200 Global Registrants for Virtual User Conference

FeneTech reports that more than 200 users from all over the globe registered for its Virtual User Conference, which ended for customers in North and South America and Australia last week. The conference continues for its customers from Europe and Asia with two sessions scheduled for the week of May 11, and another for the following week. 

This is 18th annual conference, but the first time it has taken place on a virtual platform.

"The conference went surprisingly well, and the interest was great," CEO of FeneTech Europe Horst Mertes says. "We strongly felt we needed to do something to keep our customers up-to-date with all these new developments. Though this virtual user conference will never replace our regular conferences, it was the best alternative and very well-attended worldwide."

Users from over 106 different window and door manufacturers and glass fabrication companies from five continents attended via video conferencing. This year's conference offered fewer sessions, FeneTech reports, but the company said that presenters were well-prepared and packed as much information as possible into each presentation.

“Going into this conference, we knew it would be a completely different experience with our customers,” says Dave Miller, a member of FeneTech's business development team. “The online engagement with everyone was even better than I expected and it helped to bring some sense of the camaraderie that we get to experience at the conference every year. We received a lot of great feedback from our customers on the new features available and many great ideas for the future of the system. This open communication with the extended FeneVision family will help us carry on our initiatives until we have the opportunity to meet in person again next year.”

Following this week's conference, FeneTech employees in the U.S.—while preparing to soon return to their Aurora, Ohio, office—will begin mapping a path for future enhancements. FeneTech Europe employees will follow suit after their conference ends.

Next year's U.S. FeneTech User Conference is scheduled for June 7-9, 2021 and will take place in Cleveland, Ohio. The dates and times for the FeneTech Europe User Conference are yet to be determined.
