With a year to go, Fensterbau Frontale has registrations from 480 exhibitors from 33 countries. Bookings already account for more than 50,000 square meters, or 80 percent of the available net stand space in the 11 exhibition halls. There will be a change of schedule in 2022, when Fensterbau Frontale – the Trade Show. Window. Door. Facade will take place from Tuesday, March 29, to Friday, April 1, in Nuremberg, Germany. It will continue to run in parallel with Holz-Handwerk.
“Replacing the Saturday in the combined event schedule with a weekday had long been on the industry’s wish-list, as exhibitor and visitor surveys showed,” says Elke Harreiss, director, Fensterbau Frontale. “We’re doing this for the first time in 2022. The exhibitors will have at least the same number of days as usual for setting up and taking down their stands.”
Harreiss is very happy with the feedback from exhibitors so far: “When we talk with them we can sense their confidence and anticipation, despite or perhaps because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. There is still strong interest in meeting and interacting in person. And that is reflected in the current volume of registrations: Exhibition bookings are currently 89 percent of the level achieved one year before the last event in the series.”
The Fensterbau Frontale team is planning the event in accordance with currently applicable safety and hygiene regulations and is including additional, digital components to ensure added value for exhibitors and visitors from around the world. “There has been strong growth in online formats in the space of a year," Harreiss says. "Digital information and professional development services are now indispensable, and will remain important even after the pandemic. As a leading international trade show, we strive to ensure our program is appropriately broad-based and future-oriented.”
