Giroux Glass, Inc. was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Workforce Research Group. The group created this sixteenth annual program and survey to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county's economy, workforce and businesses. The list is comprised of 100 companies.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a publicly or privately held business: Giroux Glass is 100 percent ESOP, or employee stock ownership plan, and is employee-owned.
- Have a facility in Los Angeles: Giroux Glass headquarters are located in Downtown Los Angeles.
- Have at least 15 employees in Los Angeles: at the time of submission, Giroux Glass employed 97 Los Angeles-based workers.
- Be in business for a minimum of one year: Giroux Glass is currently in its 76th year of operation.
