Haeco received a U.S. Patent on its “Sense of Touch” technology for automatically dispensing sealant on the glazing ledge of sashes and frames in the window and door manufacturing process without using laser sensors. The technology compensates for bowed or out-of-square frames to maintain a precise bead position on the glazing ledge. It also is designed to detect out of tolerance bowing, squareness of frames and operational faults. Upon the instance of a fault, the dispensing is stopped, and fault indicated on the HMI.
The SSV-1000 Sealant Dispense Valve is incorporated and can be configured for ambient silicone or hot melt.
