Harvey Windows + Doors has launched a new online platform aimed to enhance support for its distributor partners and increase product knowledge for homeowners. The upgraded website—harveywindows.com—features a streamlined design that is fully mobile-optimized and includes detailed product features, customization options, energy efficiency information and more.
“When designing the Harvey Windows + Doors website, our goal was to create a user-friendly interface that building professionals and homeowners can utilize for top quality product and industry information and enhanced support services,” says Allison Michaud, channel marketing manager, distribution, for Harvey Building Products. “The new platform’s innovative tools will allow us to continuously implement special features and efficiently update content that will be the most helpful to our end-user.”
The website offers tools designed to simplify navigation and improve informational content. Harvey has begun implementing 3D modeling technology and cross cuts that give users an immersive, 360-degree view of select products. A page dedicated to vinyl double-hung windows allows users to explore product features by providing information about various aspects of the product when clicking on or hovering over them with the cursor.
Harvey’s Find a Distributor map identifies nearby distribution partners such as lumber yards and building supply stores. The search can be modified by ZIP code to locate partners in a local area who sell directly to building professionals.
The website also offers an improved support section with FAQs, warranty claims, parts ordering forms, a “Register your Product” form and a dedicated homeowner support page.
An image gallery showcases a stylized assortment of photos of Harvey products in action and offers articles about design trends as well as ideas and advice for homeowners, designers, architects and more. Other features include page for time-saving products such as PTAC window units, panning systems, receptor systems, interior trim kits and more.
