It's designed to carry two 1-3/8-inch heavy solid-core bypassing doors within a standard 2 by 6-inch timber or six-inch steel-framed stud wall when leveraging the 1576PLBG 6-inch Steel Stud Adapter Kit. 

Using the Bypass Pocket Door Frame Kits, architects and designers are able to specify large room openings, featuring minimal wall obstruction. Two sequential doors stack parallel to one another within the same narrow wall pocket when closed. When slid out into a wide opening, they provide excellent door coverage and privacy.

Packaged for easy transport and installation in bypass or converging bypass pocket door applications, the 1562 Series Bypass Pocket Door Hardware accepts standard door sizes up to 200 pounds. Also, the company’s Soft-Close hardware is now compatible with the 1562 Series, providing a quiet closure without slamming.
