Lindsay Schroeder, senior director of the Transformation Management Office + Marvin Connected Home at Marvin, was named a recipient of the 2025 Women MAKE Awards. Presented by the Manufacturing Institute as a part of the organization’s Women MAKE America initiative, the national award recognizes top female talent in manufacturing, science, technology, engineering and production careers who exemplify leadership within their organizations.
Schroeder's career
As the head of Marvin’s recently formed Transformation Management Office, Schroeder has applied her background, formed by a marriage of manufacturing and management, to champion new ways of thinking and innovative approaches to growth at Marvin. Her leadership guided the development of Marvin Connected Home, an automated solution for windows, doors and skylights combining design and smart technology.
Schroeder served as Marvin’s first female plant manager where she was responsible for manufacturing operations management at one of Marvin’s largest facilities. She soon became a mentor to female plant managers that followed at locations across the country while also mentoring students through Marvin’s internship program, providing hands-on learning opportunities to emerging professionals in manufacturing.
