Marvin’s Chief Marketing and Experience Officer Recognized as a 2023 Women MAKE America Awards Honoree

Christine MarvinChristine Marvin, chief marketing and experience officer at Marvin, was named a winner of the 2023 Women MAKE America Awards, a national honor that identifies top female talent in the manufacturing industry. Presented by the Manufacturing Institute, the award recognizes a select group of women nationwide in science, technology, engineering and production careers who exemplify leadership within their organizations.

Christine's accomplishments

For years, Christine has immersed herself in the practice of people-centered design and innovation, applying her expertise to establish an innovation incubator at the company that was the impetus for two first-to-market innovations, the Marvin Skycove and Marvin Awaken Skylight. Designed to help people live better and make space for what matters at home, these products have collectively won more than 20 industry and consumer awards to-date. The practice of people-centered design has also influenced Christine’s direction overseeing the renovation of numerous Marvin workspaces, both in office and manufacturing environments, including Marvin’s Warroad-based headquarters buildings.

One of Christine’s other notable contributions includes setting the conditions to ensure the successful launch of a mechatronics education program, the Advanced Resource Center (ARC), in northwestern Minnesota. Developed in partnership with Northland Community & Technical College, the new program offers students a flexible learning environment and the ability to earn up to a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree or any number of certificates within the 60-credit curriculum, supporting the future of skilled labor in the region.
