NanaWall Introduces Aluminum-Clad Folding Glass Door

Clad740

The NW Clad 740 by NanaWall offers an innovative folding door solution that is part of the brand’s latest product family, Generation 4.

Product details

NW Clad 740’s slim profile is comprised of quadruple-laminated, cross-grained wood in the interior and durable aluminum cladding on the exterior, offering energy efficiency and weather performance. The clip-on cladding technology allows the wood to breathe, providing rear ventilation for moisture dissipation, which enhances the system's durability. Sustainably harvested, single-species solid wood cores further support the structure's integrity.

The NW Clad 740 also offers a variety of finish options to suit different design aesthetics. Standard wood choices include Sapeli Mahogany, Pine, Meranti, Western Hemlock and Red Grandis, with additional custom wood selections available upon request. This range of finishes allows architects and designers to customize the system to align with their project’s vision, combining a warm interior aesthetic with the contemporary look of aluminum on the exterior.

Other benefits include:

  • Minimalist Design: Features a slim aluminum clad frame, with a narrow intersection of two panels measuring 5 13/16 inches, and offers a streamlined appearance with minimal exposed hardware.
  • Height Capacity: Floor-supported panels can achieve heights up to 9 feet, 10 inches, accommodating diverse architectural designs.
  • Thermal Efficiency: Engineered for superior energy efficiency, the NW Clad 740 offers low U-values (as low as 0.29), reducing heat transfer and supporting a sustainable, comfortable indoor environment.
