Novatech Expands Doorglass Options, Partners with Garaga
Novatech, a manufacturer of entry doors, door glass, patio doors and tailor-made insulating glass, is unveiling 14 new door glass options at the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas Feb. 25-27, 2025, at booth C2646. In addition, new luxury door accents and a new approach to harmonizing the design of front and garage doors are also showcased at IBS.

New door glass options
The new door glass designs provide an array of options for residential builders and architects. The new products range from classic styles to contemporary glass. Novatech is also introducing a line of transitional designs that marry popular aspects of classic styles with contemporary components.
The new door glass options explore current trends, including biophilic designs, use of sustainable materials and curvilinear forms that visually suggest organic shapes, all incorporated into resilient, low-maintenance products. Novatech also introduced options that complement growing tastes for mixed building materials, textures and colors. The new door glass products include:
Contemporary:
- Zen – A biophilic door glass featuring ceramic ink and silkscreen technology, available in two woodgrain accents, Walnut and Aspen.
- Solstice – A modern, black-tinted door glass with high reflectivity providing privacy by day, becoming more transparent in the evening.
- Prism – Created with transparent segments, unique geometric details, and satin glass to complement modern and mid-century home styles.
- Nuando – Featuring a gray sandblasted finish with an asymmetrical, ultra-modern design that delivers high levels of privacy.
- Masterline – A reeded door glass available in vertical and horizontal orientations with alternating strips of polished and screen glass.
- Fluid – A tactile alternative to rain glass patterns, available in vertical and horizontal orientations that are well suited for today’s nature-focused entrances.
- Echo – Manufactured with a dual silk screening process to create a bright, fluted design that delivers privacy, on par with frosted glass.
- Azure and Pure – Now available in 80-inch-tall options for both modern door glass styles.
Classic:
- Luxe – Delicately textured glass and diamond bevels showcased in the center seam, ideal for homes based on traditional designs.
- Distance – Sandblasted glass engraved with a pronounced perpendicular V-Groove, adding refined beauty when used in double-door configurations.
- Balance – A traditional grid design combining silk screening with clear-glass lines to provide both privacy and visibility in an American-farmhouse look.

- Elite – A combination of classic grid patterns and complementary diamond shapes, creating a blend of satin and clear beveled glass.
- Crystal – Designed to accentuate the streamlined grid look currently popular on many home designs with clear perpendicular lines and elegant beveled glass.
“Our dramatic expansion of door glass options meets emerging market trends for varied looks, in resilient, low-maintenance residential doors,” says Katie Sponseller, U.S. product designer, Novatech. “In addition to new glass designs, we’re manufacturing door glass in monumental sizes, providing new options for adding door accents, and coordinating the look of the home’s front and garage doors.”

Harmonizing garage and front doors
Also at IBS 2025, Novatech and Garaga, a manufacturer of garage and overhead doors, are unveiling a new approach that will enable builders, designers, architects, and homeowners to harmonize the design of both a home’s front entry door and garage door. The two companies are introducing a joint effort for coordinating the style of a home’s primary statement door, the front door, and a homeowner’s largest door, the garage door, with distinctive products available from both companies.
Customers now can request coordinated door products from Novatech and Garaga, selecting from an extensive selection of door styles, materials, and door glass designs. Dozens of coordinated door glass and door embossment options are available, including Novatech’s new Zen biophilic door glass line.
“It’s well past time that there’s a way to order both a front door and a garage door that feature a coordinated design that complements the style of the home,” says Tony East, vice president, sales and operations, Garaga. “We’re committed to making our vision for harmonization more convenient, more valuable and more expansive over the coming months.”
“It’s taken two forward-thinking manufacturers to collaborate and identify an essential opportunity addressing a market need that’s existed for decades,” says Robert Latour, vice president, sales, Novatech. “We anticipate builders and architects serving a sophisticated clientele will quickly adopt our new approach to door harmonization.”
