Profile Lamination and Wrapping Symposium Being Held in October
Continental, Fux, Jowat and Kleiberit have announced the third Profile Lamination and Wrapping Symposium being held in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The event will be held in two sessions from Oct. 16-18 and Oct. 18-19.
The first event has been held in the past in 2019 and in 2022. Given the success and high attendance of those events, it will now be held on an annual basis.
This event comes at no cost to the participants. Besides the educative sessions and a visit to the third party finisher Colorwrap (contract profile wrapping) in Uhrichsville, Ohio, it also includes a field repair demonstration of laminated windows and a hands-on field repair class.

About the sessions
The first session, from Oct. 16-18, is more structured for the Intermediate / Advanced level. The target group is companies and individuals that are already familiar with profile wrapping and want to get an in depth insight into the technical nuances of the adhesion process and laminate performance.
The second session, from Oct. 18-20, is more structured for the novice/beginner level. The target group is companies and individuals that are new to profile wrapping and want to get an overall yet detailed insight into to process and performance.

- Laminates and their Performance
- Bonding, Adhesive Systems and Surface Activation
- Quality Control and Testing (AAMA 664)
- Touch Up and Field Repair of laminated windows / building products
The educative event targets are the sustainable development of laminates as the surface finishing option of the future to ensure a continuous product quality throughout the market.
