Roto introduced the NX Power Hinge, designed for sash weights up to 440 pounds on tilt and turn windows and up to 660 pounds on turn-only windows.

To prevent unintentional slamming of windows, Roto offers an anti-slam device in addition to the Roto NX Power Hinge. It is designed for tilt and turn sashes with an opening width of 80 millimeters. It secures the sash in the tilt position, is retrofittable, and comes with a special drilling jig.
The Roto NX Power Hinge limits the tilt depth to 80 mm. Beyond this distance, it would be difficult to close very tall or heavy windows. For sash weights greater than 440 pounds, a central hinge is added. P and V cams are available as well to produce burglar inhibiting windows and balcony doors.
This hinge side is made with a silver powder-coated surface. However, it can also be delivered in a RAL color of the customer’s choice.
The Roto NX Power Hinge was tested in accordance with EN 13126-8:2017. The hinge side passed the durability test in accordance with class H3 with 20,000 cycles. As per its QM 328 certification, the hardware can be used for sashes with a rebate width up to 1,600-mm and a rebate height of 3,000-mm.
